- Trained as a functional trainer in 2004 and joined the staff of Active Escapes.
- Certified personal trainer under National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM).
- Functional Movement Screen (FMS) certified since 2010.
- Current athletic pursuits include: USTA tennis, rock climbing, and swinging kettlebells.
